NAE PLANS – Running to Mull
‘Running to Mull’ – an epic story that begins with a difficult phone call and puddle of orange juice, and fast becomes one of the most gripping journeys of Adam Sutherland’s life. Belief, determination, bravery and hilarious characters – this film is a sermon for those who regularly claim they are running late!
NAE PLANS – Wick Pipe Band Hall
What a cool place! Thanks to Wick Pipe Band Hall for having us!
Nae Plans – Hoy
Thank you to Gable End Theatre for having us! A magic wee night.
NAE PLANS – Oor Peedie Trep to Orrrrrk-Ni!
Thank you Norman for the stage set up suggestion: “get the idiot to the front!”. Ha ha!

NAE PLANS Shortest Street in The World
Thank you to The Mackays Hotel, Wick for letting us film on their doorstep at No.1 Ebenezer Place – the ‘World’s Shortest Street’ according to the Guinness Book of Records! Couldn’t resist The Shamen reference (as children of 90s dance music!). The tune is Allan MacDonald‘s stunning ‘Cille Pheadair’ waltz which has surely got to be a worthy candidate for Scotland’s shortest tune.

NAE PLANS The Italian Chapel, Orkney
Thank you to John Muir and the Chapel Preservation Committee for allowing Nae Plans to film in this stunning location. Nae Plans’ fiddler, Adam received much of his musical training in his youth with Inverness Cathedral Choir, and so this beautiful ‘Missa Brevis’ (short mass) tune just happened!
